Taking pictures around the corner

The famous MIT has presented a camera that is able to take photos beyond the line of sight. Therefor a “reflector” is utilized. That reflective object can be a half-opened door, a wall or a window etc. This object even does not need to be optical reflecting the objects beyond our line of sight.

Scientists reconstruct 90% of a photo

Scientist from the University of Saarland, Germany, got a very good reconsruction from a photo that was nearly recognizeable by human. Only one out of ten pixels were known and their software got a good reconstruction of that photography. See the example image below.

Java again is most popular

From all programming languages Java is the one most lines of code (LOC) is wirtten in. More than two out of eleven LOCs are written in Java. After that we have C and C++ then PHP and C#. Thats the result from the just now published TIOBE Programming Community Index for November 2010 [1].
